That rabbit belongs to Emily Brown by Cressida Cowell and Neal Layton
Emily Brown’s rabbit is NOT FOR SALE. Not even to Her Most Royal Highness Queen Gloriana the Third. Not even for ALL THE TOYS Emily Brown could ever desire.
But when Queen Gloriana steals her rabbit, Emily Brown is FED UP! She sets out to get him back and show that Queen how to have her VERY OWN toy to love.
Reading aloud (by the parent)
This fantastic book was read over and over when A and G were smaller. Emily Brown is a great character who loves her toy rabbit (even though he’s no longer pristine). The Whilst Emily and bunny are having adventures the Queen tries various methods of bribing Emily for him. When bribery fails, the Queen goes a step further and steals him. Emily has to get bunny back and she is very cross about it! The pictures are fun and interesting. The characters really lend themselves to some very silly voices and Emily is fantastic; full of imagination, love and determination.
Highly recommended for all young children.
